Panasonic Selects NextLinx's Trade Collaborator Solution to Optimize Its U.S. Import Operations

Industry Defining End-to-End Import Solution Solves Compliance Needs

Secaucus, NJ and Silver Spring, MD -- July 10, 2001 -- NextLinx Corporation, the leading provider of global trade management solutions, which was acquired by Management Dynamics in October 2005, announced today that it will supply Panasonic Logistics Company of America with Trade Collaborator, a fully integrated import compliance and logistics solution designed to automate information flow from factory to end user. NextLinx's comprehensive solution will streamline Panasonic's inbound shipments, reduce logistics fees, lower inventory carrying costs and support Panasonic's future growth.

Panasonic will implement NextLinx's solution in its effort to provide consistent, accurate customs documentation, perform regulatory compliance checks, manage other government agency (OGA) document requirements and allow for import shipments to be split and consolidated while in transit. Panasonic will also be able to benchmark broker performance via variance reports and maintain complete audit trails.

NextLinx's Trade Collaborator solution will integrate with Panasonic's SAP ERP system to automate and accelerate transactions, giving its managers technology to maximize resources, as well as a more efficient tool for decision-making. Panasonic's customs brokers will also have visibility into the new system facilitating the communication of key data to maximize the collaborative trade environment.

"Resolving Panasonic's import compliance needs and being selected by one of the largest U.S. importers is a true testament to NextLinx's industry defining capabilities. It is a tremendous opportunity for us to exhibit the full benefits and capabilities of the Trade Collaborator in the Supply Chain industry " said Rajiv Uppal, CEO, NextLinx Corporation.

"NextLinx's Trade Collaborator solution will advance Panasonic's trade processes by improving communication and visibility throughout the Supply Chain," said Dena L. Sedlak, Assistant General Manager of Panasonic Logistics Company of America. "As a direct result, our new Import solution will also heighten our internal and external customer service levels, which are constant objectives at Panasonic."

Customs has designated Panasonic as one of the 150 "low risk" importers for compliance assessment purposes. Panasonic now receives fewer cargo exams and requests for data. The NextLinx solution manages all of Panasonic's compliance issues by setting up an internal compliance plan that shows Panasonic is taking reasonable care.
